Create Custom Graphics Easily & Optimize the Images

Today’s tips are on two tools to help with your graphics and images.

One tool to help make graphics, and one tool to optimize them.

Design programs take countless hours to master, but with this handy tool, you can be designing like a pro in no time! And if you want your site (or emails) to load fast you need to make sure all your images are as optimized as possible!

#1 Canva

Canva is a free web-based graphic design program. While it doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles as the Adobe Suite, it does make designing graphics and images super easy and accessible.

If you need to make a graphic for social media, your website or an email campaign that you’re launching then Canva is an easy way to make that happen. You can also save templates to use too so if you are making similar social graphics on a regular basis you don’t have to start from scratch each time.

#2 Kraken

Kraken is a free online image optimizer. For all those graphics that you created in Canva that you want to make sure load quickly this tool is perfect for that!

All you do it drag and drop the images you need to optimize and Kraken will take those big files and make them much, much smaller.

You have the option between “Lossy” and “Lossless”. Lossy means that you will get the smallest file size possible which translates to the fastest load times, but there might be a slight decrease in the quality of the image. Lossless means that the tool will compress it as much as possible, but without any loss in quality. So for the images that you need the utmost quality, I would recommend this option.
