Tax season is coming. Here’s how to make it easier on yourself

Today’s tips will help simplify your taxes this year and forever in the future.

As the saying goes, there are only two things in life that are certain, death and taxes. So why not make tax season feel a little less like death with these two tips!

#1 Pay Quarterly Estimates Online

There’s no need to print any forms or mail any checks. You can pay your quarterly estimated tax payments all online! All you do is fill out the form with your information, put in your bank info and transfer the money. It is so easy!

And remember, 4th quarter estimated payments are due January 15th!
(I just paid mine while writing this email)

#2 Quickbooks

There are a bunch of different ways to do your accounting. But the one that I use and recommend is Quickbooks. It has been around forever and has a bunch of handy tools to help out the small business owner.

Also, Intuit, who owns Quickbooks also owns Turbotax. So you can one button click to import all of your Quickbooks data into TurboTax. It is so simple and easy. Makes doing taxes a breeze! While having a CPA do your taxes is nice if you have simple accounting or just like to do things yourself this is a good option.
